A hospital sits between the office and the factory floor — it demands industrial-grade stability together with medical compliance, chemical-resistant cleaning, quiet operation and a clean, polished look.
Daily hospital cleaning uses 75% alcohol, chlorine-based disinfectants and quaternary ammonium — far more corrosive than typical industrial agents. On ordinary devices the plastic bezels, coatings and ports yellow, peel and lose their seal within 3 to 6 months. You need an IP65 front panel, chemical-resistant coatings and moisture-sealed ports.
Wards, consulting rooms and operating theaters are noise-sensitive (<35 dB). Hospitals also expect refined hardware, so devices use a unibody white or light-gray design with no cooling-fan noise that blends into the clinical environment.
