HACCP
Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points — a food-safety risk management system requiring that equipment contact surfaces be easy to clean and free of dirt traps.
A hygienic protection computing platform for food / pharma / high-hygiene industrial environments. Organized around cleaning grade, mounting method and protection capability, it forms a four-tier protection system of G / S / L / E series — covering everything from basic protection to IP69K washdown main lines.
Hygienic Industrial Computing refers to industrial computing platforms designed for high-hygiene environments such as food processing, pharmaceutical production, biomedicine and medical devices. Unlike ordinary industrial computers, it must meet three core requirements at once:
Built from 316 / 304 food-grade stainless steel, die-cast aluminum or anti-corrosion epoxy coating, meeting HACCP / FDA / 3-A hygiene requirements for contact-surface materials.
Multi-level sealed protection of IP65 / IP67 / IP69K. IP69K withstands 80°C high-temperature water at 80-100 bar high pressure, matching CIP / SIP in-line cleaning processes.
Rounded, crevice-free construction + hygienic connectors + smooth welds prevent food residue and bacterial growth, in line with EHEDG / 3-A hygienic design standards.
We help customers select quickly by environment, budget and cleaning standard — from basic workstations to washdown main lines.
From IP65 basic protection to IP67 whole-unit sealing, all the way to IP69K high-pressure hot-water washdown — four tiers matched to your needs.
Crevice-free rounded design, 316 / 304 food-grade stainless steel and sealed connectors, in line with HACCP / GMP / 3-A hygiene standards.
The G series withstands 80°C / 80–100 bar high-pressure hot-water washdown, and adapts to alcohol wiping, foam cleaning, CIP disinfection and more.
Three mounting methods — embedded / desktop / 304 stainless steel arm; 360° exposed mounting or cabinet embedding, configured to workstation space.
Positioned across four scenarios — washdown main line / cleanroom embedded / light-duty inspection / basic packaging — clear at a glance.

Drawn from real project experience: recommendations for 4 high-frequency scenarios — challenge / solution / recommended models at a glance.
Challenge: The washdown main line undergoes 2-3 daily CIP cleanings (80°C high temperature + 80 bar high-pressure water); ordinary industrial panel PCs let water in, corrode interfaces and display abnormally.
Solution: Choose the G Series 316 stainless full-body IP69K, with a crevice-free rounded whole-unit body that can be mounted 360° exposed. Add a 304 stainless steel arm base + control box to build a complete washdown-station HMI.
Recommended models: WPC-S10 (G) · WPC-S15 (G) · WPC-W15 (G) · WPC-W21 (G)
Challenge: ISO 5/7/8 cleanrooms require equipment with no particle release, easy alcohol wiping and embedded mounting to reduce crevice dirt traps.
Solution: Choose the S Series stainless embedded IP69K front panel, with the body embedded in the equipment cabinet and the front panel flush with the equipment face for frequent alcohol wiping and spray disinfection.
Recommended models: WPC-S15 (S) · WPC-S19 (S) · WPC-W21 (S)
Challenge: Inspection areas don't need washdown but require frequent alcohol wiping, moisture resistance and dust protection, with tight budgets.
Solution: Choose the L Series aluminum with IP65 front bezel + IP65 I/O; the 21.5/24" large screen suits data entry and image review, balancing value with hygiene needs.
Recommended models: WPC-W21 (L) · WPC-W24 (L)
Challenge: Auxiliary stations such as packaging and sorting are numerous (dozens to hundreds of units) with strict per-unit budgets, yet still require IP65 dust- and splash-proofing.
Solution: Choose the E Series epoxy coating upgrade — adding an anti-corrosion epoxy coating to a FrontOps™ standard panel PC to reach IP65, achieving entry-level hygiene with zero structural change.
Recommended solution: FrontOps™ standard industrial panel PC — all 10 series and 40+ models can add the E coating
Common questions about hygienic industrial computing, IP69K and stainless steel panel PCs.
IP65 is dust-tight and splash-proof, handling the occasional splash and alcohol wipe, suitable for inspection areas and office-production boundaries. IP69K is the highest washdown rating, withstanding 80°C high-temperature water at 80-100 bar high pressure, matching food / pharma CIP / SIP in-line cleaning processes. If your workstation undergoes daily washdown, high-pressure water cleaning or foam cleaning → IP69K is required (CleanOps G/S series); if only occasional alcohol wiping → IP65 (L series) is enough.
304 contains 18% chromium + 8% nickel and is the most common food-grade stainless steel, with good value. 316 adds 2% molybdenum on top of 304 for markedly better corrosion resistance, with stronger tolerance to salt, acids/alkalis and chloride environments. 316 is recommended for dairy / beverage production lines (frequent contact with cleaning agents), while 304 is sufficient for general clean areas. The CleanOps G series uses 316 and the S series front bezel uses 304.

Small minimum orders (5-50 units for trial production) and long-term supply commitments (3-5 years).
IP69K testing follows the ISO 20653 / IEC 60529 standards: the device is placed on a rotating test stand (5 rpm) and sprayed with 80°C hot water at 80-100 bar pressure and 14-16 L/min flow, from 4 angles (0°, 30°, 60°, 90°) for 30 seconds each, at a distance of 100-150 mm. Passing means the device can withstand CIP in-line cleaning. The CleanOps G series is IP69K for the whole unit; the S series is IP69K on the front panel.
The food and pharma industries require production equipment to avoid right-angle gaps, surface recesses and countersunk screw holes — places where water droplets, cleaning agents and food residue can accumulate and breed bacteria or biofilm. CleanOps strictly follows EHEDG / 3-A hygienic design guidelines: all surfaces use ≥ 3 mm rounded transitions, smoothly welded and polished stainless steel, hygienic connectors instead of ordinary screws, and an enclosure with no exposed gaskets.
Both meet hygiene standards; the difference lies in mounting position and cleaning process. Embedded (S series) goes into the cabinet from behind with a front panel flush to the cabinet, making it better for cleanroom equipment main panels (cleaning staff only wipe the exposed front panel). Desktop / arm-mounted exposed (G series) has the whole unit exposed to washdown, making it better for washdown main production lines (the whole unit is rinsed during daily CIP). Choosing S or G depends on installation space and cleaning process.
CESIPC commits to 3-5 years of same-model long-term supply for the CleanOps series, and provides delivered-project customers with 12-month advance EOL notice + a replacement-model compatibility plan. This is especially important for food / pharma GMP projects — these have long validation cycles and cannot frequently change models.
